Front Desk

We are looking for a pleasant Front Desk Representative to undertake receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of our agency’s office located in South Lake Tahoe, California. This is opening is for a long-term position.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality while also being very responsible, disciplined, and well-organized. You should be able to comfortably deal with our clients – both long-term and prospective new customers – and give accurate information. We treat our clients like close friends and family so a customer-oriented approach is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Greet and welcome guests or clients and answer questions they might have about policies we offer

· Answer all incoming calls, redirect them if needed, or keep messages

· Receive letters, packages, etc. and have them organized in our files

· Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels, etc.

· Check, sort, respond to and forward emails

· Keep updated records and files organized

· Be in the office during our office hours (Monday-Thursday 9 AM-5 PM, Friday 9 AM-4 PM PST)

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

· Prior front desk experience is not required but is a plus

· Reliable and punctual in keeping up with the office hours of operation

· Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer, etc.)

· Strong communication and people skills

· Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities as well as a keen eye for detail

· Fast typing is highly preferred

· Spanish speaking is not required but is a plus

· Team player
