The Opportunity 

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for full-time Service Express Agent to join our team at The Westin Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. In this role you will resolve situations and complaints using knowledge, experience, and good judgment in order to provide excellent service to all our guests.

Minimum pay rate: $16.00 / hour

Responsibilities 
  • Promptly answer all phone calls, politely greet callers with a positive, clear voice and provide superior service to all guest requests and issues received with the goal of addressing and resolving any problems in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Remain calm and composed during difficult situations, especially during periods of high-volume guest activity.
  • Communicates situations where guests are dissatisfied or experiencing a problem to the Manager on Duty.
  • Be a source of information to guests on various matters such as transport, restaurant advice, and adventures to explore.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all hotel and area events and activities so that guests will receive accurate and prompt information when requested.
  • Process guest payments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications 
  • Math skills needed to complete accurate calculations.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
  • Experience in a hotel or lodging environment and use of a property management system (Opera, PMS, Lightspeed, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience in a call-center setting is helpful.
Physical Requirements 
  • Ability to sit and continuously perform essential job functions in confined spaces.
