Island Tire & Automotive Services represents a forty year (and growing) Hilton Head Island tradition of family ownership. The company was founded in 1973 to serve the automotive needs of the rapidly growing island community. The company was founded on the basic principles to provide quality products, honest service and customer convenience and in the end make a reasonable profit in order to sustain and provide for all of the Island Tire team. Those same principles while not very exciting or flashy continue to guide us in everything we do today.\r\n\r\nIsland Tire & Automotive Services is a dedicated team of professionals who believe that the customer is Number 1. \r\n\r\nToday, Island Tire & Automotive Services is owned by the Edwards family who have been island residents (coincidentally) since 1973.\r\n\r\nThe company is run by Berry W. Edwards, III. Berry is a graduate of the University of the South with a BS in Natural Resources.
