SUMMARY

The Deli Cook duties include but are not limited to providing excellent customer service and cooking recipes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Follow recipes, read charts and spreadsheets
  • Monitor quality and food taste
  • Understands food safety
  • Meets deadlines
  • Follow production list
  • Production of hot case foods, including operation of fryers, ovens, stoves, grill, griddle, and rotisserie
  • Monitor stock levels of hot case
  • Keeping kitchen and chicken cooler clean and organized

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and fractions.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
