The line cook duties include setting up a complete assigned station before service, prep and production of items as deemed necessary by the Chef. Line cook is responsible for knowing all aspects of each dish to include product, portions, plating, ingredients and potential allergens included. The line cook may also be assigned other tasks by the Chef i.e. inventory of product, product audits, stocking of product. Line Cooks must adhere to the practices and standards of cooking, cooling and storage of food products Line cooks are required to wear non-slip shoes, Chef coat and long pants for every shift.Daily tasks - Cooking of ordersDaily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks which will be posted in BOH with CalendarPrep and production of food items as instructed by the Chef.Training of potential new Line Cooks with the supervision of the Chef
