Find you Steamboat Dream job today!!The following our the quick service locations at Steamboat.BASE CLUB:  Located at the base of the mountain, Steamboat Resort’s only private club offers members a lounge, locker room and ski valet. Successful candidates will have at least two (2) years of management experience, preferably in a club or resort setting. Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills are required with a strong attention to detail. GNARLY CHARLY’S:  Located at the base of the mountain, Gnarly Charly’s is Steamboat Resort’s go-to spot for a quick slice or pie. Successful candidates will have at least one (1) year of supervisory experience in a quick service restaurant environment or pizza shop and have exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. Administrative duties require proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.GREENHORN RANCH:  Located at the mid-station of the Wild Blue Gondola, Greenhorn Ranch is our new, premier Ski School lunchroom. This venue operates 7 days a week and feeds kids in level 1-3 classes. Successful candidates will have at least one (1) year of relevant professional cooking experience or an associate degree in Culinary Arts and one (1) year of supervisory experience in a high-paced environment with a variety of kitchen equipment. Must enjoy working with children and exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills are required.  Administrative duties require proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.HOT MESS:  Located at the base of the mountain, our mobile food trailer is serving up plenty of espresso and hot chocolates with quick breakfast and lunch options for our skiers. Successful candidates will have at least one (1) year of supervisory experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment or coffee shop and have exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.  Administrative duties require proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. ROUTTIES BBQ:  Located at the base of the mountain, Routtie’s BBQ is a true slow-smoked BBQ venue. Successful candidates will have at least one (1) year of supervisory experience in a quick service restaurant environment and have exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.  Administrative duties require proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:
  • Assist building manager with supervision of front of house staff
  • Be accountable for labor and cost of goods
  • Assist with monthly inventory
  • Assist employees with overall food preparation and customer service
  • Provide on the job training
  • Assist with management of daily operation of the building/venue
  • Perform scheduling duties and guest relations
  • Oversee building safety issues, ie:  Food safety program, snow clearing, hazmat, repairs and maintenance
  • Ensure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
  • Other duties, as assigned
Minimum skills, experience, and education required for this job:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years fast food restaurant experience in a supervisory role, preferred
  • Must possess good organizational, interpersonal problem-solving leadership and team building skills
  • Adhere to all safety policies
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Problem solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates and co-workers. 
  • Be a consistent role model for company’s Service Excellence standards
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Stand for long periods of time and climb stairs frequently
  • Ski/snowboard at an intermediate level to/from restaurant, often in inclement weather
  • Mountain venues - Operate snow blower, snowmobile, 4 wheel plow, Ranger and shovel snow

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.Steamboat area base salary range: $50,000 - $55,000 per yearSteamboat Ski & Resort Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer
