Director

Oversee day to day operation of the Program Site. Facilitate administrative responsibilities for the Program Site, including maintaining compliance with BFTS rules and regulations to include monitoring office and classroom coverage, and reviewing children's progress.

• Assign training to staff members on your team to satisfy professional learning plans and yearly requirements
• Check in weekly with the Regional Director and provide a verbal/written report of center's standing
• Schedule, monitor and record all respects of the Center's Food Program
• Provide accurate and meaningful annual performance evaluations for all childcare staff
• Family Engagement- Conducts outreach, site tours, orientation, and communication with prospective and current parents
• Maintain daily effective communication with staff, students, and their families
• Represent the center in a professional, courteous and positive manner at all times
• Confers with current and prospective parents regarding facility activities, policies, tuitions, and enrollment procedures
• Keep and maintain accurate incident reports
• Maintain confidentiality between subordinates and parents
• Report any suspect abuse to supervisor
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all staff and children
• Manage the assigned budget for the center and establish controls to assure that the center adheres to the budget
• Inspect and replace damaged or lost materials
• Supervise the Assistant Director and teachers in the classroom as needed
• Keep all appropriate records such as attendance and time sheets
• Meet all applicable licensing regulations
• Contributes to the overall success of LOTLA by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
