DVVI is looking for an Accounting Manager to handle the day-to-day accounting tasks. This is a critical and hands-on role that will support a growing organization.

The Accounting Manager will independently handle the following responsibilities:

• Maintain processes and procedures around daily recordkeeping
• Accounting data entry required for AR, AP, and payroll
• Ensure the proper categorization of transactions and accuracy of the general ledger
• Support the Controller with the monthly financial close process
• Manage disbursement cycle and accounts payable
• Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist with tax return preparation with outside CPAs and other external reporting requirements
• Establish and ensure internal controls
• Various ad hoc projects

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and good communications skills. To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in accounting positions with progressively increasing responsibility
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel
• Strong written and oral professional communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Self-directed with an ability to work independently
• Accounting degree preferred but not required
