As a Line Cook/prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food as ordered by the Executive Chef and other kitchen personnel. Preparing meals involves cutting vegetables, cooking meat, baking pastries and other duties as directed. You will need to help maintain sanitary conditions in the kitchen and make food preparation recommendations to the Executive Chef. In this role, you should be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, as you’ll work closely with other culinary staff. Exceptional cooking skills will be required as you will be preparing high-quality meals that meet specific dietary requirements. You should have at least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment to succeed in this position. Responsibilities: Preparing and cooking ingredients per recipes. Prepare, cook, and portion food items. Ensure proper portion size, food quality and presentation. Clean kitchen equipment and facilities.
