Job Description
La Semilla is a full-service vegan restaurant offering Latin cuisine in the heart of Reynoldstown. The flagship concept by Happy Seed, La Semilla offers a forward-thinking approach to dining without sacrificing satisfaction and familiarity and is the genesis of a mission to unite hospitality and the possibilities of plant-based cuisine.
As each guest’s first and last impression of La Semilla, the Greeter is essentially a gatekeeper of great service. As a critical component to the success of service, your responsibilities are to welcome guests, build relationships, seat parties and direct traffic. The Greeter should consider themselves the playmaker of each shift. Our intimate space requires efficiency and a controlled flow of guests and servers. By becoming a master of seating in the dining room, you are creating a playbook for spectacular service and the best possible experience for our guests.

- Quick on your feet and comfortable handling high volume

- Basic computer skills (Table Management System)
- Great communication and listening skills
- Proactive, helpful and team oriented
- Self-starter with a desire to learn and grow personally and professionally
Essential Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Education
- High School or Equivalent (preferred)
