Job Description
Adecco is assisting an international manufacturer in recruiting for a current Sit down Forklift Operator/ Receiving opening in Gainesville, GA. This is for a contract-to-hire opportunity. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for filling requests for materials by reading customer orders to determine items to be moved from receiving or storage areas to production area. - Operate Sit-down and sometimes stand-up forklift
- Checking in merchandise, opening containers matching to purchase orders for processing.
- Organizing, sweeping, dusting, and mopping work area.
- Assisting in counting of physical inventory.
- Will be using pallet jacks as well as forklift to move merchandise. Qualifications:
- Must pass forklift assessment
- Ability to stand and work for the full shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Requires that you be able to lift 50 pounds
- Perfect attendance is a MUST!
- Candidates must have own and reliable transportation
- Schedule: FullTime 7:00am - 4:00pm Pay for this position ranges from $17.00/hr.
