Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Part Time or Full Time

We, at Centro Medico San Lucas, are currently looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in our Tucker office. We currently serve the Hispanic community and are dedicated to bringing healthcare to an underserved area of Georgia.

This is a Full Time job or Part Time 

The NP/PA will:

• Diagnose and treat acute and/or chronic conditions in an out-patient setting under the direction of a physician.

• Obtain complete histories and perform pertinent physical exams with assessment of normal and abnormal findings.

• Perform physical examinations and specialized procedures under the direction of a physician.

• Perform or request and interpret medical diagnostics tests as needed.

• Prescribe and/ or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness and injury.

• Provide patient education in their chronic conditions.

• Perform certain medical procedures within the NP/PA scope of practice.

• Use EHR to chart progress notes.
• Monday to Saturday 8:30 to 5:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Current RN, NP or PA licensure and certification in the State of Georgia

• Certifications must be by a nationally accredited organization.

• Bilingual - Ability to fluently read, write, and speak in Spanish is preferred but not require

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
