Optical sales/Optician

Full and part-time opportunities are available in an established private optometric practice in Centreville, Virginia. Duties include helping with frame selections for our patients, adjusting frames, ensuring the quality of workmanship, and entering sales into the computer system. Duties also include instructing patients in the use of contact lenses, keeping an inventory of contact lenses, and checking contact lens orders. We are willing to train the right candidate although some experience is preferred. A willingness to work in other areas of the office such as pre-testing and front desk tasks is expected. As a small, independent company, we care about our employees' wellness and happiness. Hours are flexible but would include Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 until 5, Tuesday 10:30 until 7, and two Saturdays a month from 8-2.
