Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a Truck Shop Technician position in Riverview, Fl handling commercial grade transmissions. This position requires previous mechanics experience and has a pay range of $22-$26 an hour. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. If you meet the qualifications listed below - Apply Now!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Receive a schedule of daily assignments from the supervisor
Must meet or exceed time guidelines for removal and replacement of transmissions
Calibrate ECU's and TCM's
Have the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and install parts
Electronic Troubleshooting
Diagnose and separate transmission problems from vehicle problems
Vehicle system knowledge
Organized record keeping or some filing may be required
Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time. May be required to work nights and weekends to complete a job for customers as needed.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), desired; and three to six months of automotive, truck, or heavy equipment experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
ASE certification desired
Allison factory maintenance trained when required
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand/lift weights up to or more than 50 lbs. Employees may lie, stand, or sit for an extended amount of time, working in extreme weather conditions, and changing environments; may be asked to work in confined spaces.
