Job Description
Arborserv is a 20 plus year organization that offers full service tree care assesment and maintence. Our companies concentration of work is 90 percent commercial and 10 percent residential. Tree trimming and tree removal encompasses a large percent of our service activity. As we've grown we have added other areas of concentration to our service portal to include hauling and recycling inert debris. We are encouraged that the recycling division of our company is growing radically. This growth will place a demand on us to continually modify our footprint in the industry.
We need a strong capable and competent individual to join our team. The work hours are generally Monday through Friday 7:30 until 4:30 and when needed some Saturday shifts. We have very complementry and friendly compensation and benefits plan that we feel will suffice any professional in this industry. Our office Manager will have a broad knowledge of office systems and supervisory experience. Our professional will be very well versed in the following areas:
Office Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains office systems and supervise staff.
- Organize office operations and procedures, prepare payroll, controll corespondence, maintain an efficent filing system, review and approve supply requistions, assign and monitor clerical functions.
- Design procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of records.
- Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layout and equipment procurement.
- Implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures. Making necessary adjustments when needed.
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
- Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports and summarizing information.
- Maintains office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintains office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Two to three years’ experience in an office setting manager
- Proficient with office software

- Encourage and improve cross-department internal communication
- Perform other office tasks (replenish office supplies, distribute mail, custodial duties, etc.)
