St. Luke’s Health System in Mountain Home is seeking a Full Time RN to join our Med / Surg team.

\n

 

\n

The Registered Nurse (RN) will support the Patient Care Services unit (Med/Surg). This is a smaller-sized unit with currently only 15 inpatient beds. It is part of St. Lukes Elmore Critical Access Hospital and cares for an array of medical inpatients varying in age from newborn to elderly. In addition, this unit cross-trains with Women’s Services and provides care to postpartum patients and infants when needed. There is also the opportunity to cross-train to additional departments, including ED and Surgery. The PCS team is committed to providing excellent patient-centered care, achieved through education, expertise, and teamwork in a safe and positive environment for our patients, their families, and ourselves.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • \n
  • Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
  • \n
  • Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
  • \n
  • Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
  • \n
  • Manages care of patients.
  • \n
  • Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
  • \n
  • Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
  • \n
  • Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
  • \n
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: Nursing Degree
  • \n
  • Experience:1 years’ experience
  • \n
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
