Up to $30,000 Sign On Bonus for experienced RN / Registered Nurse Summary
Registered Nurse / RN Outpatient Surgery is responsible to provide safe and effective patient care, through the performance of specific duties as the Surgical Technician in the Operating Room during surgical and other invasive procedures under the direction of a registered nurse. Performs routine scrub duties according to AORN standards and established policies and procedures of the department of surgery. Registered Nurse / RN assists in the maintenance of a safe environment for all. Registered Nurse / RN keeps current and operating room techniques, procedures, instruments, supplies and equipment; assists with the ongoing Performance improvement Program. Registered Nurse / RN is required to work flexible hours and be on call nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications - External
Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)
Experience
Required: One or more years experience as an OR Surgical Technologist preferred
Certifications
Required:

American Heart Association BLS

For Certified Surgical Techs-Certification required

Demonstrates yearly competencies specific to unit. Ability to take call
