Job Summary
Provides supervised Healthcare Services to patients and performs a variety of Administrative and Clinical support duties related to the Student Health Clinic operations.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Provide patient care including rooming patients, measuring vital signs, taking chief complaints, venipuncture, injections, dressing changes, perform CLIA-waived in house lab testing, setting up and assisting providers during sensitive exams and all office procedures. Schedule appointments as needed. Documentation of patient care in electronic medical record, including scanning and attaching documents, completion of residency/rotation forms; notify patient of laboratory results after review by ordering provider. Perform clinic check-in procedures as assigned. Monitor inventory supplies/equipment/medications to determine when orders need to be placed. Assist supervisor with administrative responsibilities as needed, including training, policies and procedures and risk management.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma/GED with a minimum of two years experience in administrative and clinical support within a hospital or clinic setting and certification as a Certified Medical Assistant. Current BLS CPR certification required.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working supervised in a clinic among a multidisciplinary team of staff and providers, using an electronic medical record for documentation and e-prescribing as a provider agent. Experience in recognizing emergent symptoms of patient decompensation/instability and performing Basic Life Support CPR. Experience in administering vaccines, oral, subcutaneous and intramuscular medications. Experience in using databases for documentation, tracking, presentations (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality. Detail-oriented. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days: Mon-Fri.
Pay Grade: 9
Salary Minimum: $15.00 -$16.20
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position.
