Shipping Receiving Clerk

BRC Rubber & Plastics Inc. is seeking to hire a Shipping / Receiving Clerk to join our Shipping Department team. This is a full-time, hourly position that will perform the day-to-day activities of the shipping department. They will be responsible for meeting deadlines, requirements and transportation to ensure goals and objectives are achieved. Performs other related duties, special projects or assignments as required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain customer portals, such as Ford, Stellantis (Chrysler) and Global Steering along with various others.
• Maintains the shortage report and keeps load sheets up to date with the assistance of Customer Service. 
• Completes requirement sheet each week to use in production meeting and completing the required shipments.
• Responsible for learning the customer portals and disputing any discrepancies
• Responsible for all out bound materials and transportation
• Audits physical inventory on a monthly basis, orders department supplies
• Responsible for the quality and accuracy of all shipping documents prior to being sent

Requirements:

• Must be dependable and available to work as needed, with occasional overtime
• Must have a positive attitude
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Comply with health and safety practices, policies and regulations

Experience:

• 1-year experience as a Shipping Clerk in a manufacturing environment
• Logistics experience helpful
