Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre-bid job walks as needed to aid in the estimating process.
  • Lead a single crew of up to 4 electricians.
  • Ensure the project is on track and on or under budget.
  • Work with local inspectors.
  • Interact with and support Alamon team members from other divisions.
  • Work with the administrative team to coordinate and schedule upcoming projects.
  • Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
  • Bend and install EMT, IMC, GRC up to 2”.
  • Order materials as needed and in anticipation of work.
  • This position will report to the Field Project Coordinator.
Electrical Foreman Minimum Qualifications:
  • Possess and maintain a California Journeyman Electrician License.
  • Ability to manage projects, teams, and tasks in a professional manner.
  • Willingness to be a team player
  • Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, the use of a computer (MAC or Windows), tablet, and smartphone.
  • Possess great problem-solving skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the state of California with most of the work in the LA/OC/IE/SD regions.
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Service experience is recommended.
  • Experience with UPS and/or Battery Energy Storage Systems is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, and work in awkward positions for several hours at a time.
  • Willingness to work outside during inclement weather.
Work Environment:
  • This position will be working on active construction sites, outdoors year-round in all types of weather and on varying terrain.
  • This position will require work inside finished and occupied buildings.
  • Some travel may be required.
