Behavioral Health Therapist

Aurora Psychological Services is seeking Virginia licensed and/or (VA license eligible) LPC, LCSW, LMFT and/or Licensed Clinical Psychologists to join our enterprising and growing team. You can work remotely from the comfort of your own home, but you will also have access to the Woodbridge office. Evening availability is required at least one day a week (Virtually). Part-time will be considered (15 to 20 hours per week). You will receive full credentialing, administrative, and billing support. As a team member, you will also receive ongoing clinical oversight, mentoring, and consultation opportunities. Compensation is based on client caseload and number of billable hours worked.

Responsibilities:

• Counsel and advise individuals or groups with substance abuse problems
• Develop and implement individual treatment plans
• Establish treatment goals and milestones with clients
• Prepare progress reports and letters for relevant parties
• Educate families and groups on treatments and prevention programs
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare or counseling professionals
• We are ONLY seeking the following licensed or licensed eligible mental health professionals, i.e. (LCSW, LPC, LMFT or LCP [PHD or PsyD]) in good standing with no previous malpractice claims.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in counseling, social work, or other related fields
• Experience in conflict resolution
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
