Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position has strong work ethic, problem solving skills, strong ability to work independently, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.
Responsibilities:
o Light calendaring
o E-filing suits
o Drafting pleadings from existing templates [Proof of Service, Notice of Settlement, Request for Dismissal, Notice of Jury fees, CMC Statements, Response to IMEs, etc.]
o Drafting letters from existing templates
o Following up on settlement releases and settlement checks
o Submitting finalized documents to attorney service or e-file with Court
o Service of defendant(s) & follow up on service
o Creating medical summaries
o Requesting health insurance liens
o Updating missing information in client’s files.
o Coordinating appointments with clients
Qualifications:
ü Education: High school diploma or higher.
ü Familiarity with pleadings/discovery
ü Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
ü Able to take direction and work independently with little or no supervision
ü Highly organized and detail-oriented
