R.P.L.S./S.I.T./Technician

R.P.L.S./S.I.T./Technician – Bullard, TX

E.L.S. Surveying & Mapping, Inc. is looking for a R.P.L.S./S.I.T. or experienced Technician for a full-time position located in our Bullard, TX office.  E.L.S. has been serving the petroleum industry for more than 75 years and is continuing to grow.      

Responsibilities:

·         Effectively communicate with Land Surveyors, field crews, office staff and clients to ensure job requirements are meeting expectations.

·         Design maps based on fieldwork and layouts.

·         Ensure final maps comply with appropriate internal and external standards.

·         Other duties of similar nature may be assigned.

Requirements:

·         Experience with oil and gas land surveying, preferred.

·         Experience with residential and boundary surveying, preferred.

·         Ability to problem solve.

·         Must have experience creating drawings in a specified format.

·         Attention to detail and accuracy.

·         Ability to meet deadlines.

·         Must be self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.

·         Proficient with CAD software (Carlson).

·         Must possess organizational skills.

·         Ability to draft a variety of jobs.

·         R.P.L.S. certification preferred, but not required.

·         S.I.T. certification preferred, but not required.

·         Work well as part of a team.
