Title: Part-Time Student-Accountant-Grovetown GA or Fuquay-Varina NC-Partial Remote - 93946
Onsite/Remote:Partial Remote Position
The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
- Record and track routine or recurring transactions
- Prepare various daily, monthly, quarterly, or annual financial/cost reports, statements, or exhibits
- Gather, review, and analyze financial information
- Support the team during monthly financial closing activities and special projects
- Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Accounting; others may apply
- Must be registered as a full-time student at a university local to either location
- Graduation date of Spring 2024 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Available to work 16-20 hours/week during the academic year
- Available to work 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester
- Available to work a combination of onsite (up to 3 times/week) in Grovetown, GA or Fuquay-Varina, NC, and remote work per business needs and manager's discretion
- Intermediate proficiency level in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Understanding of accounting and financial statements
- Good communicator, intellectually curious, teachable, and self-driven
- Detailed oriented, analytical, data driven, and adaptable

- Advanced proficiency level in Excel and other data analytic tools (Power BI, etc.)
- Understanding of concepts around Lean Manufacturing and costing
- Experience with SAP FICO
