Job Description
Salesperson will be responsible for developing leading, managing client work, and maintaining client database for effective residential and commercial construction process.
Education and Experience
• 3+ years maintenance experience
• Knowledge of relevant computer applications
• Knowledge of principles and practices of sales
• Knowledge of customer service principles
• Knowledge of basic business principles
• Experience in making presentations
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
• Generate and qualify leads
• Source and develop client referrals
• Schedule sales activity
• Assist in management and maintenance of direct marketing strategies and activities
• Make sales calls to new and existing clients
• Develop and make presentations to potential clients
• Develop and present sales proposals
• Negotiate with clients
• Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
• Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue
• Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• Follow up on sales activity
• Record and file detailed activity (cost, materials, changes, etc.) associated with project
• Review, record and handle customer service issues
• Identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability • Perform quality checks on projects; before, during and after sale
• Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up with management
• Conduct market research and surveys
• Participate in sales events
• Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
• Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments including, but not limited to: service and management

Qualifications
Education: Minimum high school graduate
Language skills: Must speak English fluently
Driver License: Required
Experienced with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess an outgoing and energetic personality and a high degree of self-confidence
Possess a positive, motivated, and professional attitude
Responsibilities
Salesperson will be responsible for developing leading, managing client work, and maintaining client database for effective residential and commercial construction process
Develop new and manage existing accounts in customer base
Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals
Provide constant communication and promote services provided by company
Create leads for repair and service work through cold calling, referrals, service hand off, account management and networking
Participate in sales meetings and trainings and obtain continuing education by participating in available manufacturer seminars and conferences
Provide operations team with necessary information and support for success of the project
Perform all services and acts reasonably associated with his/her position to achieve company purposes, in each instance as approved and required by the company
Must be able to carry and load material and equipment in excess of 75 pounds
Requires sometimes removing ladder from service truck’s ladder rack
Setting up ladder and climbing ladder to safely access roofs for service evaluation
