Powder Coating Line Manager

Rosco Vision Systems is seeking a Powder Coating Line Manager to join our team! The Powder Coating Line Manager will also maintain the paint work flow and supervise the employees in the coating department. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail oriented, organized, capable of multi-tasking, works well with others and has a positive attitude. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

• Reviews production schedule to plan work and personnel assignments for each shift and deliveries for next shipping day

• Supervises the activities of the assigned department’s employees

• Assures that equipment and booths are properly maintained for efficient production

• Arranges to have appropriate production records prepared and maintained

• Monitoring Painters for proper equipment set-up and transfer efficiency

• Measure daily paint consumption verses square footage sprayed

• Maintains good employee relations and takes proper and judicious disciplinary measures when required

• Maintains adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices

• Performs other duties as required or directed

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency

• Five to eight years of directly related experience, with at least two years’ experience as a supervisor

• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting

• Computer Skills including Microsoft excel and word

• Experience in supervising hourly personnel, customer contact, and effective relationships with staff and line department heads.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely active role; Physical requirement of being able to lift 60 pounds, bend, squat, kneel, reach overhead, push, pull walk, and stand for long periods of time.
