Schools - RN Nurse

Job Description Our school is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate registered nurse to serve as a school nurse for the summer session. The school nurse will be responsible for providing healthcare services to around 100 PreK-8th grade students during the summer session. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and be dedicated to promoting health and wellness within the school community. Key Responsibilities: * Assess and treat students who become ill or injured during the school day * Administer medications and provide first aid as needed * Maintain accurate health records and communicate with parents/guardians about their child's health * Develop and implement health education programs for students and staff * Provide guidance and support to school staff on health-related issues Qualifications: * Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of employment * Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience * Pediatric nursing experience preferred * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Knowledge of school health laws, policies, and procedures This is a part-time position for the duration of the summer, from June 7th to June 28th, with hours from 7:45 AM to 12:15 PM. The hourly rate is competitive and commensurate with experience.
