Join a great team and work in a great location in Cheektowaga, NY!  We are in need of a on-site Quality Technician.  We offer competitive pay, generous shift differential,  newly airconditioned plant, and great benefits too.  This is a split shift role.  Hours are Monday - Thursday 8PM to 4AM and Friday 3PM to 11PM but we can be flexible.   All work is conducted on-site and it is not a remote position. We are offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus with this role.

Job Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for in-process inspection and testing quality verification.  
  • Ensures all QA bench-top test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
  • Documents. samples and quarantines non-conforming material and maintains other sample requirements as defined.
  • Follows all safety policies and quality procedures.
  • Conducts in-process inspections and tests verification for Quality, and Food Packaging Safety requirements.
  • Associates degree is preferred with a concentration in mathematics.
  • Two to five years' experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior quality experience in a similar role utilizing testing equipment, strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail is required for this role.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicate, get along with others, positive attitude and be well organized.
  • Must be comfortable working with quality testing equipment at the site.
