Hours: Weekday evening hours, weekend and holiday work are required

Salary:

$13/hr Starting wage

Special requirements: Positive attitude is a must.

OEI – Outdoor Excursions Inc. WE ARE IN THE FUN BUSINESS! OEI operates Koteewi Run Seasonal Slopes, providing a fun snow tubing hill experience for people of all ages. We live for providing fun in the snow to all of our customers and employees.

About the role

As a Tubing Hill Staff person, your role in the organization is key to success. As a fun-maker in our organization, you will be responsible for greeting and engaging with our customers on the hill and maintaining a positive and fun experience, while performing various basic operational functions. This is a vital role and is essential to our customers having fun at the snow tubing hill. You will report to a Team Leader, and OEI Management, who will guide you in maintaining the safe, and efficient flow of people and equipment. Your days will be filled with movement, opportunities for laughter, smiles, and effective positive communication.

Responsibilities

· Lift line loading and unloading

· Tubing lane assistance

· Observation and customer safety

· Safety fencing

· Staging and stocking snow tubes

· Greet and interact with customers

· Assist with returning inventory and equipment

· Help us to maintain a clean environment and workplace

· Other duties as assigned

Candidate requirements

· We are seeking individuals who love being outdoors and want to work in a positive and fun environment.

· You must be 16 or over with transportation.

· Candidates in this role must be able to communicate well in English, be alert, and perform basic math skills.

· Our ideal candidate has a positive mindset, an open schedule and is motivated to learn to earn and grow with us. We love to promote from within! If you treat us as a priority instead of an option, you will be treated with the same regard.

· This role requires the ability to work outdoors in cold and snowy conditions. Weather appropriate jackets will be issued to you if you are hired. You are required to have your own waterproof, warm pants, shoes, hat and gloves.
