We are seeking an Insurance Programs Operations Analyst to join our Commercial Programs Team. This position will work with internal and external partners to support the Director of Operations for Commercial Programs including the Specialty Programs and Alternative Risk Solutions business units.

The primary duties and responsibilities of the role are:

  • Coordinate with internal teams of Products Management, Regulatory Compliance and Legal for all rate, rule and form filings including new programs and existing programs maintenance.
  • Analyze and evaluate state mandated Regulatory Compliance bulletins and notices to distribute to team and external partners as required.
  • Assist Director of Operations with new program due diligence, launch and annual maintenance.
  • Review ISO and AAIS circulars for updates specific to active programs
  • Review and evaluate all Workers' Compensation Bureau requests and policy criticisms to ensure timely response and/or fine resolution.
  • Administration of external partner user credentials for all of Argo systems, including quarterly verification of access.
  • Responsible for Auto Liability Insurance Reporting on behalf of external partners
  • Execute Form and Rate specific file reviews as requested.
  • Provide monthly reports to external customers on a timely basis each month.
  • Assist in additional operational support as needed

Core qualifications and requirements for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of Commercial Insurance industry experience, Products Management or Regulatory Compliance preferred.
  • Quick learner with the ability to identify creative solutions to increase efficiency and solve problems for the business unit
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing direction, adjusting priorities on multiple tasks while maintaining clear communication with Commercial Programs leadership.
  • Must display a professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with initiative and ability to work in time sensitive service focused environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong PC skills, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

The base salary range provided below is for hires in those geographic areas only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.
Colorado outside of Denver metro, Maryland, Nevada, and Rhode Island Pay Ranges:
$81,600-$101,600 USD
California outside of San Francisco metro area, Connecticut, Denver metro area, Washington State, and New York State (including Westchester County) Pay Ranges:
$89,700-$111,800 USD
New York City and San Francisco metro areas Pay Ranges:
$97,900-$121,700 USD
