The Project Manager position entails the ability to understand and translate Bid Specifications into code- compliant Fire Alarm system installations. This includes being proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Email or other engineering design software applications. Knowledge of Fire Alarm code is required.
Candidates must be dedicated and reliable team players who are committed to establishing and furthering a positive organizational culture. Detail-oriented, problem-solving individuals with the ability to manage, assess, prioritize and execute CAD designs, drawings, and submittal guides is highly desired.
Participate in customer site visits, kick off meetings for new Projects, and assist both Installation divisions as needed.
Expert level On-The-Job training is provided for candidates of high potential with lesser experience.
Job Qualifications – Requirements
· Experience in all aspects of the Fire Alarm industry, including but not limited to; Installation, Inspections and Service
· Basic CAD Design skills
· Basic understanding of:
o Computer/Tablet/Smartphone operation/software
o NFPA-72 (National Fire Alarm & Signaling Code) & NEC-70 (National Electrical Code) preferred
· Valid Driver’s License
· Pass a Background Check
