Your projects will support vital applications for military, first responder, and adaptations of 5G technologies. As part of a small business working on a team, your impact can be significant for the well being of our country and well-recognized. In this role, you will be providing technical oversight for SDR development tasks, while advising teams that include sub-contractors and vendors. Additionally, you will help build confidence, capability, and cohesion by leading and mentoring junior team members. This position will be hardware-intensive involved in the architecting of RF embedded systems by developing radio solutions on hardware for SDR systems.

General Professional Requirements
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take the initiative, employ critical thinking, and pay attention to details.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Experience developing, designing, and testing FPGA.
- Ability to understand and elicit customer's technical and business needs to implement best fit design solutions for SDR.
- Design and develop embedded software solutions for sensors, innovative radio communication with spectrum access systems.
- Coordinate meetings with a variety of engineering teams to discuss, design, and create interfaces between other systems.
Preferred Technical Requirements
- Very strong comprehension of wireless networking, embedded systems, hardware design, and signal processing fundamentals.
- Experience designing and developing embedded systems for FPGA using Linux.
- Experience with SDR platforms such as ADRV9361-Z7035 or Xilinx RFSoC
- Experience with Xilinx Zynq devices or UltraScale MPSoC and an understanding of the design flow and toolchain use.
- Developed proficiency in Python, C++, and/or C.
Highly Desired Experience
- Department of Defense experience a definite plus.
- Experienced with one or more of the following:
- − Verilog for FPGA design, including implementing DSP algorithms in FPGA
- − FPGA interfaces with ARM processor applications
- − Linux software kernel and device driver development for Zynq processors
- − RTOS development for real-time operation on Cortex
- -A53 ARM or FreeRTOS on Cortex-R5
- Implementing wireless technologies on a SDR such as with the PHY, MAC, TDMA, RADAR, detection, classification, 5G, LTE, beamforming, or MIMO.
