Job Description
Aspen Ridge Medical is an insurance Billing/ Utilization Management Company that caters specifically to Behavioral Health facilities across the country. We are looking for potential new hires with the following qualifications (no degree required, certification preferred but also not required)
· Team-oriented
o We’ve built an environment based around our ability to work as a team. It is a crucial part of this role.
· Fantastic Communication Skills
o You will be communicating daily with insurance representatives from all over the country… being able to clearly articulate your needs, both with the representatives and within the team is a necessary skill.
· Self-Motivated, Self- Driven
o This job requires from time to time that you reach out to the team for tasks/projects, manage priorities on your own, and that you keep yourself on task. Being self-driven enough to do so regularly is a must!
· Problem Solver
o There will be plenty of times where there isn’t a checklist to follow, and getting to the answer isn’t easy. Problem solving skills are an integral piece of the job.
· Computer Skills are also a must…
o A lot of the work we do is housed within some online tools, whether it be google sheets (excel,) outlook (Gmail,) word, or others. They are used daily, multiple times a day.
Your Job Duties and Descriptions will include, but are not limited to:
· Verification of Benefits calls
· Medical Records Requests
· Claims Calls
· Appeals
· Project based items, such as;
o Bulk Write Offs, Batch Discharges, Check Postings, etc.
