Special Education Teacher

Full-time Contract Special Education Teacher Company: Procare Therapy Salary: $35-$45 hourly Procare Therapy is currently seeking a full-time contract Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year in Aurora, IL. This position will be responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with disabilities in a K-12 setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with a range of disabilities and have a strong understanding of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and other applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities: * Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities * Provide direct instruction to students in individual and small group settings * Monitor and assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed * Collaborate with other educators and service providers to support student learning and success * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field * Valid Illinois Teaching Certificate with Special Education Endorsement * Experience working with students with disabilities in a K-12 setting * Strong understanding of IDEA and other applicable laws and regulations * Excellent communication and collaboration skills Contract Details: * Full-time position * Hourly rate of $35-$45, depending on experience * Contracted through Procare Therapy for the current school year * Opportunity to renew contract for next school year based on performance If you are a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply for this position.
