CNC Programmer

Our manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Programmer with experience programming 3-axis CNC router. You will develop new CNC programs for production runs or modify existing programs for Biesse CNC router. During the manufacturing process, you will perform quality checks with the machine operator to ensure the program is producing parts according to specifications, making adjustments if necessary. You will also work with the engineers to look for product modifications that might reduce the amount of material or fabrication time. Although no formal education is required, applicants should be familiar with the computer-aided design programs B-Suite, Alphacam, AutoCAD, & Cabinet Vision. Cnc Programmer Duties and Responsibilities

• Create 3D designs.
• Work cooperatively.
• Become proficient with computer-aided design software.
• Produce high-quality programming for Biesse CNC Router.
• Analyze drawings to determine dimensions and to choose cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates
• Modify existing programs for Biesse CNC machine
• Maintain tooling database
• Make manual program adjustments as necessary
• Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process

CNC Programmer Requirements and Qualifications

• Must have minimum of 2 years experience using a CNC Router required.
• 1 year experience programming CNC Routers
• Proficient with B-Suite, Alphacam, AutoCAD, & Cabinet Vision required
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Completion of a technical or associate degree program a plus
• Basic math skills
