Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role requires an individual with strong organizational and communication skills to manage a high volume of customer interactions in a fast-paced office environment. The position involves order entry, account management, inventory research, troubleshooting, and maintaining excellent customer relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order/Data Entry: Enter orders and update customer data in customer portals, databases, and NetSuite software, including e-commerce platforms.
- Customer Communication: Handle a large volume of customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests via phone and email.
- Inventory Research: Check product availability, coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely shipment of orders.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Resolve customer product concerns and order discrepancies efficiently and professionally.
- Account Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date customer records and documentation based on interactions.
- Knowledge Base Development: Stay informed about products, services, and operational updates to provide accurate information to customers.
- Miscellaneous Duties: Assist with other customer service or administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in customer service, sales administration, or a related field.
- Call center experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Data entry experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) experience is helpful but not required – we will provide training.
