The Club at Crazy Mountain Ranch is a private membership experience set on 18,000 extraordinary acres in the state of Montana. Take one part working ranch, combine with golf, lodging, great food, and drink plus everything else there is to see and do and you’ve got something beyond special. Crazy Mountain Ranch is a project by Lone Mountain Land Company (LMLC) who manages the planning, entitlement, building, marketing, and sale of premier real estate communities around Big Sky, Montana.

Position Summary

At The Crazy Mountain Ranch, Zipline Guides provide an experience to guests seeking a way to enjoy nature with the added element of excitement. Guides are responsible for the facilitation of the zip line, transportation of guests to and from the course, upkeep of the course, and upkeep of the building associated with the course. This is a Seasonal Summer position starting May 2024. Housing Available Upon Request. Deposit and Rent Required.

Job Duties

  • Work directly with team members to provide a safe and pleasing experience to guests
  • Ensure that all course operations are conducted in accordance with zip line tour safety standards 
  • Assess participants competencies, coach course required skills, screen out risks
  • Complete daily inspections of all course components and gear
  • Fit harnesses and helmets correctly on tour participants and supervise the use of all personal protective equipment 
  • Communicate with supervisor on a regular basis regarding operations.

Competencies

  • Must be able tolift and carry 50 pounds through varied terrain
  • Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
  • Must have physical and mental ability to perform rescue techniques at heights up to 125ft
  • First Aid, CPR certifications highly preferred
  • Should work well with a team
  • Should possess strong communication skills
  • Must be willing to work weekends and have a varied schedule
