Laborer/Production Worker

Our starting rate is now at $15/hour with shift differential incentive!

We pay 100% of Employee level coverage for medical coverage (first of month following 60 days).

Job Summary:

The position rotates between functions consisting of operating a die cutter, gluing foam parts, packaging foam parts in plastic wrap, and writing on or placing pre-printed labels on finished packages

Essential Functions:

• Moves finished and unfinished goods using equipment such as pallet jacks
• Completes the production process of raw materials to meet customer specifications
• Works various positions
• Operates die cutting press to stamp out shapes from foam sheets
• Glues-Glue Dacron onto pre-cut parts and glue multiple layers and grades of foam together with a hand-held spray gun
• Wraps, counts and places foam parts on plastic wrap and seal plastic with a hand-held iron according to customer specifications and stack neatly on the pallet or in stock
• General Labor-Performs general cleaning duties including maintaining your work area, removing trash, placing scrap foam into carts and bailer
• Operates salvage slitter, convolute foam parts, strip finished parts from CNC conveyor belt, move material to glue room or wrapping stations via pallet, assemble box springs
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials
• Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, moving materials, and manipulating things
• Must be able to lift 0-35 pounds
