Qualified Driver- Propane Bobtail Delivery Driver

A driver is responsible for delivering propane and other hazardous material to residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural customers in a safe and timely manner.

A great driver has positive, and knowledgeable interactions with customers. Building relationships is key. They are part of the community they serve and treat their customers as good friends who they aim to protect by taking the appropriate safety measures put in place to accomplish this. Drivers are in-tune with their surroundings and see potential hazards in advance to avoid them. They are brand ambassadors who aid in the positive outlook of the company and are happy to interact face to face with our customers.

The goal of a driver is to provide best in class service, transport product safely, inspect vehicles regularly to mitigate safety hazards, and represent the company positively while creating a great customer experience.

Responsibilities

· Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations

· Provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiries

· Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance

· Maintains compliance with all DOT requirements

Requirements

· Previous truck driving experience preferred

· Class A or B CDL, Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement (or obtain quickly)

· Good driving record

· Physically able to lift and pull up to 60 pounds, in all weather conditions

· High school diploma or equivalent
