Job Description
Special Inspector / Construction Materials Technician
Mid Pacific Engineering, Inc. is a professional consulting firm that provides high-quality service to the construction industry with expertise in the fields of Geotechnical Engineering, Earthwork Construction Testing, Construction Material Engineering, and Testing.
MPE is currently looking to hire Certified Inspectors and entry-level technicians for full-time employment. MPE has offices in West Sacramento, Redding and Lodi with fieldwork primarily in the central valley but extending throughout California and surrounding states.
Desired certifications include: (Must carry 1 of the following)
- CWI
- NDT
- ICC Structural Steel and Bolting
- ACI Concrete Field Technician
- ICC Reinforced Concrete
- ICC Post Tension Concrete
- ICC / DSA Masonry
- ICC Commercial Inspector
- ACI post-installed anchors
Requirements:
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must have a clean driving record

Reference Laboratory (AMRL) and participates in their proficiency sample programs. MPE has been accepted by the Division of State Architect (DSA) into the Laboratory Evaluation and Acceptance (LEA) program and is certified through the USACE. Caltrans approved Laboratory with certified field and lab technicians.
