Premier Catering & Events - Bartender

Premier Catering and Events is seeking part or full time experienced service bar team members. Candidates joining our family must possess great work ethics, professional appearance and a passion for guest service & hospitality a great meal for our guests!

Prior service & restaurant / bar experience preferred

Schedule:
7 days a week available for work AM or PM
Duties & Responsibilities:
Be avalaible to help set up bar space before start of the event.
Take beverage orders from guests and servers.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the standard drink recipes.
Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register system.
Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable).
Wash and sterilize glassware.
Prepare garnishes for drinks.
Maintains bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.
Clear and reset tables.
Make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages.
Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to bar manager.
Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the bar as directed by the bar manager or immediate supervisor.
Extensive knowledge of alcohols and bar drinks.
Be avalaible to help break down bar space after end of the event.

Qualifications:
At least 15 years of age
Previous restaurant experience (Preferred but not required)
Success with customer service
Financial literacy
Ability to keep inventory organized.
Possess excellent basic math skills and can operate a cash register or POS system.
Possess basic computer-related skills.
Possess the highest standards for personal appearance and attitude.
Be able to work on your feet at a high energy level for long periods of time.
Must have stamina to work 50+ hours per week.
