Higginbotham Brothers, a Division of US LBM is seeking a Lumber Yard Manager to join their team in, Conroe, TX!

How you will spend your day as a Lumber Yard Manager:

• Managing and coordinating daily store activities
• Develops business plans for efficient use of materials, equipment, and management of employees
• Controls all operational expenses of the store within budget and maintains operating income through effective management and generation of sales
• Resolves operating difficulties and implements resolutions
• Assigns, instructs, trains associates in the performance of their jobs
• Monitors all sales activities to insure profitability and best sales advantages
• Manages location P&L to budget
• Relationship builder with associates, customers and vendors
• Coordinates workflow between departments and work areas

Lumber Yard Manager Requirements:

• Experience. Supervising a staff of individuals in sales and distribution operations.
• Skills. Previous construction, building material, or other relatable industry experience.
• Physical. Ability to bend, twist and squat. Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Teamwork. Ability to work as a team and help motivate others.
• Special skills. Bilingual - Spanish/English preferred
