Assistant Manager - Now Hiring

Jersey Mike's Lake Charles is looking to hire a full-time assistant manager for the new store opening in June 2023 on Nelson Rd. The Assistant Manager will report directly to the Store Operator as well as the Owner and will be responsible for store operations in their absence. Training requirement will be 8 weeks of hands-on, fully paid training at the training store in Houston, TX prior to our store opening in Lake Charles. During the training period, the asst. manager in training will be paid for 45 hours of work per week and will be provided lodging for the duration of training. Training will start immediately upon hiring and applicant must be fully available during the this period.

Required qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Valid auto liability insurance
• Background check
• 3+ years of experience in the food & restaurant industry
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to comfortably lift 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license

Preferred qualifications:

• Own a personal vehicle
• Available to work: weekends
• At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
• Comfortable handling customer complaints
