Job Description:

Job Responsibilities: (not limited to)

● Learn and administer the appropriate curriculum for children in your care for both classroom and outdoor activities, in accordance with age-appropriate objectives, developmentally appropriate practices, and program philosophy.

● Maintain daily communication with families of children in your care.

● Report any suspected child abuse to Franchise or Director.

● Know and implement appropriate procedures in your classroom.

● Establish positive, respectful, and professional relationships with children, parents, and coworkers.

● Implement or assist in weekly age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.

● Arrange the classroom environment in accordance with program goals.

Qualifications:

● High School Diploma or GED / Preferred degree in early childhood education or related field

● Passion for teaching and working with children in both group settings and individually

● Working knowledge of the behaviors and developmental stages of infant/toddler/preschool/school-age children, typically gained by working one year or more in a school or preschool setting.

● Excellent customer service skills

● Team-based collaboration

● Flexibility

● Strong written and oral communication skills.

● Knowledge of safety practices as they relate to infant/toddler/preschool/school-age children.

● CPR/first aid/MAT trained preferred
