SIGN ON BONUS FOR FULL TIME GRADUATE NURSE POSITION

Position Purpose:

  • The Graduate Nurse shall be responsible for planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies and must work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Responsible for nursing technicians. Responsible for demonstrating ethical and appropriate clinical behavior while continually assuring the patient’s dignity, privacy and rights in respect to the age of the patient and any other care specific needs of the patient.
  • Reports to the shift Charge Nurse and Med/Surg Unit Director.

Requirements 

  • Be a graduate of an accredited nursing program at time of hire 
  • Required to have and/or obtain eligibility letter to test from the Florida State Board of Nursing 
  • Authorization to Test (ATT) letter from the examination vendor prior to hire/start date 
  • Required to have and/or obtain Florida RN license within 90 days of graduating from an approved nursing program
  • BLS certification from AHS or ARC
