Job Summary:
Scotts Valley Pipe and Sprinkler is looking for an Assistant Manager of Sales and Customer Service. This
role would assist management in the day to day operations of the company driving sales and
productivity.


Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Sufficient experience, training and/or education to demonstrate knowledge and ability in customer
service and sales of pipe, fittings, pumps and irrigation product.


Serves as the stores experienced person, providing detailed product information to both customers and
peers. 

 

Promotes and recommends products that match customer’s needs. Informs customers on pricing,
options or status on pending orders.


Conducts sales activities and builds relationships with customers. Keeps shelves stocked and correctly
displayed. 

 

Successfully completes and monitors orders.


Provides customer service including identifying and resolving customer complaints, greeting customers,
answering phones, building relationships with customers, and thanking customers for their business.


This person must be a good listener and capable of problem solving with a pleasant, friendly demeanor.


Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing and lifting up to 50lb.

Required qualifications:

  • 21+ years or older
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Speaks English
  • Able to stand for duration of shift
  • Comfortable handling customer complaints
  • Able to comfortably lift 60 lbs
