iAnthus is a looking for an IT Support Specialist. The IT Support Specialist will be providing end user support for their various PC and system issues.  It will also require supporting the local area network, as well as supporting the systems in our sites, with a focus on our New Jersey and Maryland sites. This role will be accountable for providing guidance and technical support to employees, systems and processes. This position is located in Maryland or southern New Jersey.

Essential Job Functions

  • Point of escalation for the helpdesk and to triage complex and multi-step solutions/resolutions
  • Candidate must diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and create scalable solutions
  • Emphasis on providing the most efficient support resolution either through remote support, 3rd party field services, going on-site, or some combination thereof
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to the operations team to enable technology to improve their processes
  • Must be a self-starter who is enthusiastic about developing systems and practices that will elevate the department

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of IT support concepts, practices and procedures
  • LAN, Site to Site and Client VPN, and WAN Networking Concepts
  • Cisco Meraki
  • Office 365 Management
    • Microsoft Exchange Online Management
    • Azure AD Management
    • Intune Management
    • OneDrive, SharePoint Management
  • Windows, Macintosh, and peripheral hardware configuration and support
  • Hardware Procurement Management
  • Remote Support and Troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently and interact with employees
  • Strong organizational skills

Requirements

  • IT service and support experience required
  • The qualified candidate will have a minimum of an associate degree or 2 to 3 years of previous technical network and computer support experience
  • The qualified candidate should also demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as a strong technical understanding and proficiency in hardware and software support

Supervisory Responsibility

  • This position has no supervisory responsibility

Physical Demands

  • Generally standing and walking less than 1/3 of the time
  • Occasionally lifting computers, monitors, printers and other peripherals
  • Typical office environment
  • Regular local travel
