PARTY CHIEF SURVEYOR/CONSTRUCTION SURVEYOR

Nickolas Savko & Sons is currently hiring an experienced Construction Surveyor. This is a long term position with growth opportunity and advancement. Salary and benefits to match qualifications.

Nickolas Savko & Sons, 77 years in Columbus, is a Street & Site Work Contractor that performs Mass Grading & Excavation, Paving, Storm Sewer, Sanitary & Waterline Utilities and Structures.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to a strong background in the following areas of construction field layout:

• Earthwork Grading

• New Road Construction

• Sewer and Waterline Layout

You must be able to perform all survey calculations and projects from start to finish.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-10 years experience as a Construction Surveyor

• Proficient in reading blueprints and specifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Trimble Business Center

• Strong knowledge of Robotic Stations, Total Stations, Trimble GPS and Data Collection

• Must be able to perform all survey layout calculations

• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to details

• Good understanding of various State and local industry related specifications

• Must have a proven track record and be a self starter

• Must have a valid Drivers License

• $35 TO $38 TO START WITH OVERTIME COMPENSATION AND SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE SHOULD BE ABLE TO REALIZE $85,000 TO $100,000 PER YEAR.
