Greets and serves guests, prepares product, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, and handles or processes light paperwork.

Primary Responsibilities:

To serve food, drinks, and to accommodate guest’s needs in a courteous and timely manner.

Specific Functions and Duties:

• Interact verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Prepare and deliver food to guests and meet or exceed the guest’s expectations.
• Greet guests, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service while demonstrating a complete understanding of menu items and explain them to guests accurately.
• Committed to continuous learning and always striving to perform better.
• Take pride in all aspects of their work, whether making sandwiches, prepping, running the register, or cleaning.
• Give respect and always willing to play their part in making the restaurant a warm and welcoming place.
• Recognize how critical cleanliness and safety are to the quality of the product and the health of the business.
• Enjoy the craft of building sandwiches, salads and serve quality soup to guest.
• Perform Cash-In Procedure- accounting for all forms of money, bread, etc., during the shift.

Qualification Standards:

• Ability to wipe down table tops and counters, pick up debris off of the floor, sweep the floor and/or any other cleaning duties required of the position.
• Capable of using knives, slicing equipment, and other food preparation equipment.
• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required. Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Transports boxes and cases up to 30 pounds

Physical Standards:

• Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for up to four (4) hours in length.
• Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel.
• Have the ability to lift items frequently weighing up to 30 pounds.
