Urologist

The James A. Haley VA Medical Center, Tampa, FL is seeking a full-time Urologist to join our team to provide Urological Care to patients. The candidate should be able to provide a variety of Urological services including pre-operative patient assessment, exam and management. Assess and manage patients in Urology Clinic, as well as wards, emergency department, and nursing home. Participate in multidisciplinary activities involving the treatment plan and discharge plan of patients. Provide guidance and clinical supervision of the nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and health technicians assigned to the Surgical Service when appropriate. Assist in the development, implementation, and expansion of programs in Surgical Services. appropriate policies, service agreements, procedures, plans, and professional standards that guide and support Primary Care Service and programs. Actively participate in Resident training, education, supervision. On call by rotation.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen. If no qualified U.S. Citizen is found, will consider non-
  citizen candidates

• Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State.

• Board Certified/Board Eligible (Preferred)

• Must be highly motivated, team-oriented, and committed to the care and good  
   health for our Veterans
